CHINESE WHISPERS - IS THE SHOP FOR SALE?

It is depressing to hear that there is a rumour going around that we are closing.  It is not true.  Legal action may be taken against anyone spreading such a rumour!

THE TRUTH is that, for months now, the shop has been on the market for sale as a going concern.  We will not sell it unless the buyer intends to keep it going mainly in its present form, although it is possible to develop the business further.  If you are interested in buying a well established, interesting and rewarding business, then you cam get in touch with the agents Knightsbridge Business Sales plc on THIS LINK.

SUGAR ART CLUB - ST NEOTS AND DISTRICT

The friendly club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month, excluding August and December, at the Priory Centre in St Neots from 1930 until the last person leaves!!  The members are sure to make you welcome.

MAIL ORDER CUSTOMERS

We have been sending mail orders around the world ever since we opened.  In particular, we meet the needs of our 'local' customers in the Cambridge area which seems to stretch from Kettering to Newmarket and Stamford to Dunstable. We can do low-cost orders with minimum postal charges.  We do not want to get involved with e-commerce, for the time being.  We prefer to talk to customers, so why not try our reverse call system - ring us to give your telephone number then we call you back for as long as it takes to sort out your order.  Have a look at our mail order page for details.

FADEN'S MAP OF NORFOLK

Dr Andrew Macnair has been working on Faden's Map of Norfolk for a number of years, and meticulously re-drawn it digitally. The Publisher, William Faden, first published the map in 1797, and Andrew completed his work in 2005.  The printer he uses to copy the map seems to take up most of his house, but the printed map is superb.

If you, or anyone you know is interested in old maps, especially of Norfolk, we would direct you to Andrew's website at www.fadensmapofnorfolk.co.uk.
