Cupcakes are versatile and quick to make, and as such make great Valentine treats.

These cupcakes were made by 9 year old Antonia, based on the design in the book Cupcakes by Sue McMahon. 

Sue's book contains more than 80 Cupcake recipes for a range of occassions. It starts from the basics, including a number of recipes that children will love, but also covers more sophisticated party recipes. There is also a section on special diets so noone should feel left out.
