Welcome to the Happy Shop, we hope you enjoy the Sugar Daddy's experience here on the web, as a mail order customer or, best of all, in the shop.
CLASSES FOR AUTUMN Classes start again on the 1st September. Classes will comprise 6 lessons each lasting 2hrs 30 mins. As usual, there will be two basic (beginners) classes on Monday evenings and two intermediate standard classes on Tuesday evenings. They will be held in the Little Paxton village hall from 6.30 to 9.00 pm. Details will be published on the CLASSES page on Sunday 10th August. If you are on our list of people waiting for classes, we will contact you by telephone or email this coming week (11 August). If you have not heard from us by the 17th August, please call at the shop or telephone 01480 471200. If you did not know that we held classes and wonder what standards our students achieve, you might like to look at the PICTURES page to see what we have been up to! PLACES WE HAVE VISITED WHICH ARE WORTH KNOWING - North Norfolk At the beginning of July, we were let off the hook for a few days, and went to north Norfolk for a family party to celebrate a significant birthday last February! We had a wonderful time with family from as far away as Oz. We think you might like to make a note of some of the places worth visiting in that part of the world. First and foremost, Ivy House, our favourite B&B, anywhere. Have you ever heard of Jenny Winstanley's cats? These are amazing life-size ceramic models with glass eyes that watch you wherever you go. We had to buy another three, including one of Jenny's limited editions to sit by Sally Cat on the landing. You can see some of them on the website a linked to her name above. The location is North Walsham, which also has a very interesting church. Whilst we were in North Walsham, we found The Cockerel Tea Room, and strongly recommend it for the service and the food. We look forward to our next visit. Why take a rest? We had so many chatty late evenings, and covered nearly 300 miles of Norfolk's narrow country roads (and diversions), that we needed a rest when we got back! CHINESE WHISPERS Rumours will always abound, but see the NEWS page to put the main one to rest! ABOUT US Sugar Daddy's, was born on the 1st April 1992, and, as it was in the middle of a recession, it seemed appropriate to open on April Fools Day! Our achieved aim was to become the best cake decorating and sugarcraft shop in the area, and to be known all over the world. Although we SELL our goods, our advice is FREE.
